Alexander’s present from Michael and I took FOREVER to get shipped! It was a little late for his birthday but that’s ok! It is always happy to get a present!
It was so funny to watch him open them. He loved the colorful box and the tag with Rex on it more that the shoes. Then he was more interested at the fact that they “belonged” in the box.
When Michael did get them on him he did not want them on for long. It took a few weeks for him to WANT to wear them. It took taking them to Aunt Mary and Uncle George’s to break them in, while stepping in real cow manure. I’m sure that made all the difference! That and realizing they were HIS shoes.
