Today Conrad, Karina and I picked tomatoes from our garden. We got two big bowls full and this is our second big pick! Conrad and I cut x's in the bottoms and boiled them for 15 seconds (Conrad got to be the counter) then dunked them in ice water. Them we slipped off the skins. Then we used the Food Chopper to dice them all to make sauce. Conrad's favorite part was peeling the tomatoes like a banana! Labor day fun!

Way to go! Our poor tomatoes are trickling in one or two at a time. Very sad. But I do love putting up tomatoes because it's sooo easy!
